An Idea
So this is just a quick thought but if anyone knows of any good ways to distribute our music over the internet, leave a suggestion in the comments section. I would really like to be able to sell our stuff to people everywhere but I have never done this before.
Hello, I hope you won't be too disappointed by this comment but there is no future in just relying on sales of the music ITSELF.
You need to use the music to promote other goods that have some kind of appeal and/or scarcity. ie. live shows, limited runs of merch etc.
BitTorrent is one of the best distribution services available to you. I suggest going this route and looking to see if anyone in the torrent business can help promote you with links etc.
A site was just posted on another blog I follow. Check it out. Lets you sell ur music, and keep the royalties. Even has an option to help u create cover art i think. Hope this helps as an option.
